Sailing

Yesterday we went sailing. It was perfect weather for it: a steady breeze, lots of sunshine, and not too hot. So, for a few hours, we heard nothing but the wind and the waves. It's nice to get away from it all, and Chris and I feel much better today. Thanks for all the hugs and well-wishes. Happy Columbus Day to those of you who have the day off. Happy Thanksgiving Day to everyone in Canuck-land.

Thanksgiving here in Canuck-Land. Happy Columbus day to you. If I could swim and wasn't afraid of the water, I would go sailing...sounds wonderful

Glad you're both feeling better.

I'm among the chosen "few" (the majority?) who get to keep the country together today. Not a problem. At least we don't get any bills in the mail today!

We didn't get the day entirely off. The library was closed but we had "staff day". Just a half a day where the whole library system gets together. I am glad you got to go sailing and are feeling better. I have been thinking about you and hope you are doing ok. I am still awaiting my cruise in December so I can be on the waves. It will be amazing! Hugs!
